Hi I’m Linda!

A devoted dog enthusiast, certified canine nutritionist, professional dog walker, and proud dog mom to Waffles, my golden rescue pup who inspires and challenges me.

I’m also a LEO wife of over 24 years, a “retired homeschool mom” to two incredible young adults (one now a professional dog groomer), and a woman who understands busy households, full schedules, and the desire to do better — even when life feels full.

Dogs have always been part of my life, but rescue dogs taught me something deeper, they don’t need perfection they need safety, patience, and someone willing to “listen”.

My work is rooted in faith, compassion, and practical wisdom.

As a follower of Jesus, I believe dogs aren’t just pets — they’re furever family members. (this is also what i call my 4 legged clients also)
They bring joy, comfort, healing, and connection into our lives in ways that often mirror God’s own care for us.

My approach is intentionally different…

I don’t believe in fear-based training, shame-based advice, or one-size-fits-all answers.


    I believe:

    • Dogs communicate before they comply

    • Behavior is information — not defiance

    • Nutrition is daily stewardship, not perfection

    • Connection always comes before correction

    That’s why I created Love Signals™ — a gentle framework that helps dog moms understand how their dog gives and receives trust, comfort, and connection.

    I’m especially passionate about helping families feel confident about what they’re feeding their dogs — breaking down label confusion, marketing myths, and overwhelm so nourishment feels doable, not stressful.

    We may not know our rescue dogs’ full genetic history, but daily nutrition is one way we can faithfully support their bodies and give them the best chance to thrive.

    I’m a self-proclaimed N.E.R.D. (Never Ending Reading Diva) who loves learning — and loves sharing what I learn so other dog moms can raise happy, healthy pups with confidence and peace.

    This space was created for dog moms who want to do things differently.
